Week of April 18

Congratulations to the fifth graders on a fantastic Spring Sing performance!

If you have any old cell phones that you haven't gotten around to recycling, the third and fourth graders could use them in their Spring Sing!  I will then be taking them to a cell phone recycling drop-off location.  We would really appreciate any old phones you have!

This week, Kindergarteners in the morning class sang "Tugboat," reviewed high and low sounds on xylophones and played a motive from “Tugboat” on the xylophones.   Students in the afternoon class did not have music because we did not have school on Friday.

First and Second graders found out what their parts will be for the Spring Sing.  They are very excited!  They began the work of piecing together the show with all of their different parts.

This week, the Third and Fourth graders worked very hard to put together all aspects of their musical.  Many students had recess rehearsals this week, and everything is beginning to come together!

The fifth graders did an great job in their assembly for the school on Monday and an even better job in their concert on Wednesday night!  They worked really hard to write their own mini-musical, learn the songs that the other classes wrote, and perform everything.  Congratulations to the fifth graders!
