Kindergarteners read a book called Bearful Bear and His New Moves this week.  They did creative movements to act out the roles of the characters in the story, and they used unpitched percussion instruments to create a soundscape.

First graders sang a song called "Paw Paw Patch."  They did a folk dance with this song, as well.  They also reviewed the music notation that they learned throughout first grade.

Second graders continued their study of George Frideric Handel this week.  They seem very interested in his life and compositions.

Third, fourth, and fifth graders continued working on their drumming ensemble pieces.  They have done a great job with their drumming units and really seem to be enjoying themselves.
