Students worked hard during their two days at school this week! Read on to find out what they learned in Music.
Kindergarteners worked on identifying the Orff instruments by name. They were able to play high and low sounds on the instruments, and they worked hard to accompany themselves while they sang a fall song.

Third graders in Mrs. Hettich's class and Mrs. Lippe's class shared their early music notation systems with their classmates this week. Students in Mrs. Lorenz's class did not have music due to the days off.
Fourth graders in Mr. Bush's class and Mrs. Munson's class have started working on their recorders. They have learned the notes B and A so far. Mrs. Silberman's class did not have music this week due to the days off. They will receive their recorders on Monday!
Fifth graders voted on which dances they will be performing for the concert this week. All students have learned every dance, but due to space limitations, there are three dances that will only be performed by one class each. Many fifth graders spent their recess time today helping to decide what their concert script will be about. They are very excited to write their own script this year!
